At the MedTech World Malta summit, Vivifi was nominated for MedTech Startup of the Year and CEO Tushar Sharma received a nomination for Rising Star of the Year. The summit takes place at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta and brings together founders, clinicians and investors from more than fifty countries. In 2024 the main program ran November 6–8 and opened with invite‑only Investor‑Only and CEO‑Only forums on Day 0, fostering candid discussions among medtech leaders. The event concluded with an awards gala at the historic Mediterranean Conference Centre attended by over 1,500 guests, where categories included MedTech Startup of the Year and Rising Star of the Year.
These nominations weren’t just about accolades; they gave us a platform to present our function‑preserving BPH therapy to European and MENA partners. Participating in the Investor‑Only and CEO‑Only forums provided unfiltered insight into the medtech investment climate and M&A landscape. We returned to Houston with follow‑up conversations that could translate into collaborations across funding, clinical trials and manufacturing. The experience underscored the value of building relationships in markets where BPH prevalence and treatment pathways differ.
